Ready to level up your maths?

This fun, interactive group is the next step for learners who have grasped the early maths foundations and are ready to stretch their skills, tackle bigger challenges and become more confident mathematicians.

Across the lessons, learners will explore bigger numbers and place value, addition and subtraction, shape and data, measurement, money and time, multiplication, division and fractions through games, investigations, challenges and plenty of practical maths.

We'll explore numbers beyond 100, discover clever ways to calculate, investigate patterns and sequences, tackle real-life money and measurement challenges, collect and interpret data, build times-table skills and explore how multiplication, division and fractions connect.

There is a strong focus on maths in real life, helping learners understand where maths appears outside a lesson and how they can use their skills to solve everyday problems.

Learners won't just be encouraged to find the answer. They'll spot patterns, choose strategies, explain their thinking, investigate ideas and solve problems, with fluency and mathematical reasoning woven naturally into every lesson.

Maths: Level Up! is based on maths ability rather than age, making it suitable both for younger learners ready for additional challenge and older learners who would benefit from strengthening these important mathematical foundations in an age-neutral and supportive environment.

Optional Home Assignments

Learners can continue the week's maths with an optional home assignment designed to reinforce skills, encourage investigation and apply learning in meaningful, real-life situations. These are completely optional and are there for learners who would like some extra practice or challenge between lessons.
