About the class
Young Farmers Club
Calling all young farmers!
Pull on your wellies (virtually!) and discover what really happens on a working farm.
Young Farmers Club takes learners behind the scenes of real British farming, exploring animals, crops, machinery, food production, changing seasons and the challenges farmers face every day.
Each week includes a video filmed on a real working farm, giving learners the chance to see farming in action. Back in the live lesson, we'll investigate what we've seen, ask questions, solve farming challenges and discover the science, technology and decision-making behind modern agriculture.
Across the course, learners will explore everything from caring for livestock and growing crops to powerful farm machinery, farm-to-fork journeys and the future of farming.
Perfect for curious young people who love farms, animals, machines, the outdoors or finding out where our food really comes from — no farming experience (or muddy boots!) required.

🐝 A little note about our first block 🐝
As we’re launching later than planned, this first block is a shorter 3-week block. You’ll only pay for these three lessons, and our usual 6-week blocks will follow. We can’t wait to welcome you!

Week 1
Welcome to the Farm
Explore different types of farms, what farmers actually do and how a working farm changes through the seasons.
Week 4
Mighty Farm Machines
Explore tractors, harvesters and other farm machinery, what each machine does and why modern farms rely on technology.
Week 2
Meet the Animals
Discover how farm animals are cared for, what they need to stay healthy and how farmers manage their daily routines.
Week 5
Farm to Fork
Trace everyday foods back to the farm and discover the journey from field or animal to the food on our plates.
Week 3
From Seed to Harvest
Follow a crop from planting to harvest and investigate soil, weather, machinery and the decisions farmers make along the way.
Week 6
Be the Farmer!
Learners take on a farming challenge — making decisions about animals, crops, weather, land, costs and what happens when things don't quite go to plan.

2. Live lesson places are limited to 10 learners per lesson to ensure the best learning experience. If a place becomes available, it will be bookable here on a first come first served basis.
3. Live lessons require cameras to be turned on for the best learning experience.
